Meet Allie Kauffmann

Allie Kauffmann is a queer-affirming therapist who specializes in working with the trans community, eating disorders, and body image issues.

She received her undergraduate degree from Boston University and her Masters in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University. She’s been practicing since 2018, working in school settings, LGBTQ youth counseling and eating disorder treatment centers before starting her private practice.

She believes in a non-judgmental approach to therapy, allowing the client to be the expert on their own lived experience while staying curious about how to support them as an individual to live into their fullest truth. She’s firmly aligned with the Health at Every Size and fat acceptance movements, and believes in body justice for all. In her spare time she enjoys reading novels, crafting, watching reality TV, hiking and listening Taylor Swift. She lives in Glendale, CA with her partner and dog Petey.
